CURRENT MISSION
To not fall over when wearing my 20 kg backpack
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Los Angeles CA, I've lived close to the beach all my life. When I get homesick while traveling, I try to head to the coast. Something about the salt and the seaweed take me straight back to LA. I graduated from UC Berkeley and am excited to see the world. I like to go to the beach, hang out with friends, dance to any kind of music imaginable, sleep, and meet new people!
I have a love for aquariums, Mexican food, sports movies, people watching and trashy reality tv.
Recently moved up to San Francisco and I couldn't be happier. However, still can't fight the itch to get traveling again!
PHILOSOPHY
Smile!!! It's amazing what a smile can do for your day or someone else's day.
Life is too short to take things too seriously. Have some fun, do something silly, embrace the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any film when the underdog prevails. Including but not limited to: sports movies, action movies, rom coms, or any number of cheesy films.
Music- house, trance, pop, alternative, hip hop, a good 90's Mariah Carey ballad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The lakes in Interlaken, Switzerland where the glacial water meets the mountains and sailboats dot the water. Trekking through Northern Thailand is pretty awesome too.
Teach, Learn, Share
So far in my travels, I've celebrated two American holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmasin foreign countries. They've been well received considering one focuses on dressing up in silly costumes and the others focus on eating/giving. However I think my friend Shaun and I have spread the bigger message of being thankful for the good things in your life like good health, family, and old and new friends. And that's what cultural exchange is all about
