About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eat as much food as I can

ABOUT ME

From Ireland, currently living in Bristol but always up for adventuring. I work on a food website, so I spend most of my time writing about food, reading about food, cooking and of course eating. So if you like food we'll probably get along.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you want to be treated

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a surfer who has stayed on many a floor and a couch and am always amazed by the generosity of hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Yes surfed in paris recently and it was a great experience :) I also surfed when I arrived in Michigan an it was such a great introduction to the place :) Have met so many great people surfing in during my time in the Mid West and looking forward to who I'll meet through couchsurfing next,

Interests

Food! Photography (I have on occasion been known to take pictures of my food - don't judge!). I like vintage clothes and wearing bright colours. i love to swim and am happiest when I am by water, particularly the Irish coast,

Music, Movies, and Books

I unashamedly love Harry Potter (you go JK!). Other favourite books include The Secret History (I loved this book so much I would come to work late everyday because I had been reading it but my boss didn't mind as it's also one of her favourites), God of Small Things (which I was lucky enough to read while I was actually in Kerela), Stoner (what's the point of life really?) and so much more that I can't think of right now.

My favourite movie is Strictly Ballroom (a life lived in fear is a life half lived) with Frances Ha coming a close second (I'm also not a real person Frances)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My mom and I spent a day on a boat with the Turkish mafia...we didn't know who they were at the time.....

I also recently performed a poem at the Royal Albert Hall which was pretty special
