We are 27 and 30 years old and have lived in Berlin almost our hole lifes. 2 years ago we moved to Osabrück, where Melchior is working on his PhD. First we were not too exited, but we got to love our new home.
Melchior is interested in games, traveling and chemistry ;-).
I am more the quiet kind of person, but I enjoy exploring other countries and meeting people from all over the world.

Both of us love to travel. A few years ago we made our biggest dream come true and went on an around the world trip. Since then we love exploring new countries and cultures even more and are alway busy planning new holidays. This year we went to Cuba :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Christina: Live is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself.
Melchior: Perfection is not if there is nothing more to add, but if one can't leave anything out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted quite a lot surfers and made only positive experiences!
We also surfed ourselves a few times on our around the world trip and we a always had a great time. It is always great to get to meet locals and share travel experiences.

Interests

We are really interessted in music. We also like reading. I specially like historic novels and fantasy books and Melchior is more science fiction kind of person.
Melchior likes animes and computer games.
Besides that I am a sitcom-addict :-) and I love to bake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most impressiv things we have ever seen was Westminster Abbey in London. It really made us speechles, because it was just so beautiful.
The other thing we have done, that we would not trade for anything is our journey to Jerusalem. It was the most amazing feeling to see the Church of the holy Sepulchre and to touch the Western Wall.
The one thing Melchior enjoyed the most was the Grand Canyon in the USA ... these hugh dimensions that make you feel so small.
And of course the coolest thing we have ever done was our around the world trip for one year!!!

As a host we would like to show you our new home Osnabrück and the things that make it so unique.
Also I like to cook and bake and we enjoy debating about almost every topic.
