ABOUT ME

I spent the last 4 years working as a Ranger at Grand Teton National Park and am currently doing a bit of traveling before I begin work at Yosemite this upcoming May. I am extremely passionate about my job and the outdoors. Something else I am passionate about is sharing all I experience through the art of photography. I have found a little bit of success in this field in recent years and only hope to be more successful. I am also extremely friendly, albeit a little shy at first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I loved hosting people from all over the world here at Grand Teton National Park and when I am traveling I love to CS myself! I would rather spend an evening getting to know people from different walks of life than hang out alone in my house or hotel room any day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed around New Zealand and absolutely LOVED it! Following that I have tried to couchsurf whenever I travel here in the States while hosting people at home all the time.

Interests

I absolutely love photography. I own and operate a small photography business that keeps me financially afloat in my travels. Other interests include anything outdoors hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, kayaking, skiing, etc... If its outside, I am down.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any music that has lyrics or sound that speak to me. Basically my music taste is all over the place. 500 Days of Summer is my favorite movie of all time and I like any period piece.. Its the history major in me. The history major in me also likes any of those boring nonfiction history books. I live for that stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My goodness. How to choose. SO many options. Living/working in Grand Teton National Park for four summers was probably the best/most amazing/fun experience of my life. You should try it.
