ABOUT ME

I never particular enjoy talking about myself, because I find it awkward. But CS says I have too, sooooo I enjoy traveling, adventure, and meeting new people. I am a single mother and I am working hard on fostering a love of life and sense of adventure in my son. Hopefully it is working as we are about to set off on a month long trip vising all of the northeastern states of the US. Oh and I am also a high school teacher, which is the reason I will be able to travel this summer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted, but not yet surfed. I am currently in the process of moving for the next couple of weeks and then will be traveling for the month of July. Sadly, I will not be able to host right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted twice and attended a Couchsurfing meet up with a group of people while in Peru that wanted to practice their English speaking skills. I met some wonderful people and had an amazingly great time!

Interests

Traveling!!! Also-reading, drinking good coffee, hiking and backpacking--can't lie these 2 in particular are new to me, meeting people, and I'm sure there are more that I am leaving out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really watch movies. I love to read and am usually in the middle of reading something at any given time. I enjoy both fiction and nonfiction texts. I hold music closest to my heart. I enjoy music with a good beat. Currently that is mostly Dancehall and Reggae, but I also enjoy Rap, R&B, and Alternative music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always up for learning and trying new things. I can teach you how to make bread, peanut butter, (so easy), and Nutella from scratch.
