About Me

Hey people, how are you?
my name is Christina, I'm 26 years old and I am originally from Germany.
I am a student of mechanical engineering at the Univercity of Applied Sciences in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing as an AuPair a few years ago. I have lived in Boston for about two years, before I started my studies back in Germany. While I was traveling, it was a great way to meet new/local people and to find a place to crash.
In September I will be back in Boston to visit my host family and some friends. My friend Karin from School in Germany is joining me on a little road trip:
(Sept. 15th - 20th 2018) Boston MA - Montreal QC - Toronto ON - Niagara Falls - Boston MA

Now we are looking for some great people that are willing to host us one or two nights and maybe show us aroud the city a little and exchange some life stories. If you don't have time to "entertain" us, don't worry, we will find our way around. But we would definitely apprechiate, if you could name us some hotspots in the city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The greatest thing about traveling is, to meet new people.
Back in 2013, when I was traveling with the bus from Boston towards Washington DC, I met a guy on the bus and we have been in touch ever since.
It was the day before Thanksgiving in 2013. I planned to visit a friend in Washington DC over the holidays. I had to switch busses in NYC and it was crazy bussy, because everyone was traveling towards their loved ones. I got the last seat on the bus to Washington DC. It was right next to Bradley. We spend four hours straight talking and felt kind of sad, when we reached our stop in DC.
Bradley came to Boston for a visit after that and I went to see him a few times in NYC. If I haven't taken the bus for that trip or traveled a few hours earlier, I would have never met him. My great friend Bradley.
