ABOUT ME

Well, how to start? Maybe by just summing up some "facts" about me that might be interesting for a potential host or surfer. I'm a vegetarian and if I wasn't addicted to cheese (and too lazy to prepare my own lunch for work every day) I might still be vegan. I'm somewhat idealistic and I believe in creating and reusing instead of just dumping out stuff, if I don't like it anymore. There is barely anything that I enjoy more than music, even though I can't play any instrument, not even the triangle (my parents must know, since I had one when I was a child!). But I simply love to dance, sing along and get lost. I like interesting art, which can be ranging from Cranach the Elder via commercials to street art as well as all kinds of games from computer- to board games. (Though... I have a crush on the old Lucas Arts games). Well, and nevertheless, I enjoy to have interesting conversations, especially together with some wine or beer and good food! ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I seem to get a bit workaholic recently, I don't really have the capabilities to be a good host, but never say never, there are always some weekends off, so just drop me a line and we can see what is possible. :)

Besides I just promised myself to spend more time traveling this year and since I love to get to know a city from a personal perspective, I'll definitely try to surf more often this year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only made great experiences when surfing or hosting people of this community that I'd never want to miss again! I even found a good friend via this community (and some really, really dazing circumstances ;) )

Books:
I must admit that I've been reading way too less recently, but I love the humor and the creativity of guys like Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman or Christopher Moore.
And in terms of comics, I adore Shaun Tan. If you don't know him yet, get to know his work. To me, it was plainly stunning.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Maybe quite trivial, but I think it's great how people "break free" during the few days of a festival and just live the way they want to. Nevertheless if it's rather calm and relaxed, complete insanity or even means spending 3 days on the camping ground and taking care of one particular dixi toilet, including putting up candles and wallpapers.
No one cares but everyone gets along.
