CURRENT MISSION
I organize fun, partisan and non-partisan gatherings for like-minded people. Non-partisan experiences include Labyrinth Walks, Sing-Alongs, and Drum Circles. I also organize Wine Tastings, Coffee Mornings and Potluck Dinners for a political activism group, that I founded the day after the Orange person was elected. I was a co-organizer of an Official Sister March of The Women's March on Washington in January 2017. I was sole organizer of an Official Sibling March of The March for Our Lives, in March 2018; after the mass murder at MSD High School, in Parkland, FL. I'd like to finish writing a book about the healing benefits of Voice Movement/ Expressive Therapies based on my work with patients, and my own experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking forward to being a Host in the future. In the meantime, I may wish to Couchsurf the next time I go out of town. It's a wonderful way to meet local people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a lovely Couchsurfing experience in the Cevennes in France in August, 2014. I was in the area to take a Voice and Movement Workshop. Originally I was going to stay with the homeowner, but when I arrived she offered me my very own studio flat. What a lovely surprise that was. She took off for an extended trip to India soon thereafter. I was offered a couch in Nice, France, but didn't need it, as I found a roommate to stay with for an extended period of time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Voice Movement Therapy was the most intense, scary, and FUN trainings I've ever experienced. It is also the therapeutic work that I've enjoyed doing the most. It was also the most fun for my clients/patients. : )

GOAL: I long to float in Caribbean and Tahitian waters; and swim with dolphins in the wild again. I did this in Panama City Bay, Florida in 2004; and it was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm trained in many wellness techniques that help increase self-confidence, and bring one into the present. I could teach you one, to help enhance your sense of well-being really quickly.

Learn: I'd love to learn to play the guitar and the hand drums better.

Share: I love sharing singing, songwriting, hand drumming, art-making, cooking, wellness education and modalities, and more...
