This is also my first time couch surfing. I am travelling for 12 months and I do not want to spend all that time staying in hostels for a number of reasons. I want to spend time with local people I can connect with and learn something from.
I am not on here to date, I have tinder for that 😉

Standing on the edge of an active volcano in Vanuatu is the first thing that comes to mind. You could feel the ground shaking with every explosion of lava and your eyes burnt from the sulphur in the air. Very powerful experience!
