I'm couchsurfing because it's a great way to meet new people and experience a place differently. It's that experience that a hotel can never offer.

Interessen

As cliché as it may seem, travel really is my biggest passion, but not the only one of course! I am a big history buff (I briefly studied history) and I love English literature. I've always loved sports and have played many different ones over the years, from swimming and water polo to running and triathlon.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I could make this list very long but I'll try and contain myself! For music, I like all kinds of artists, from Charles Aznavour to The Beatles to Kygo. To name a few I quite like : Coldplay, Les Cowboys Fringants, Efterklang...
I enjoy reading a lot, I tend to prefer classics such as The Monster of Frankenstein, Animal Farm or any book you will read in school. Lord of the Rings is probably my absolute favorite.
My taste in movies changes a lot, the only thing I don't like is gore, I can't handle it haha some movies I never get tired of are: any Monty Python movie, A streetcar named Desire, Finding Nemo, Skyfall. I like kids movies a lot because I have worked with kids for a long time.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hard to pick just one really. One of my favorite things I've tried was a flying trapeze class in New York City. One of the most beautiful things I've seen is the Grand Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Muscat, Oman, no pictures or words can describe how beautiful and grand it is! A favorite experience of mine was flying over Christ the Redeemer in Rio in a helicopter around Carnaval time!

I know a few Eastern European recipes I can share or some interesting historical facts. I'm always up to learn something new about a place or culture, especially music!
