ABOUT ME

I was a hardworking woman, now I am retired and have enough time to travel and also to show around guests.
I live with my family (my husband and my son and his girlfriend) in a nice house with a nice garden in Perchtoldsdorf, which is a very pretty village close to Vienna. We grow our own organic vegetables and fruits and I like to cook for my family and guests.
I also love cycling, mountainbiking and hiking and do this whenever I find time, mainly in the nearby Vienna Woods.

PHILOSOPHY

After a long time of working a lot in a hospital, growing up my children and keeping a houshold for the whole family I reached retirement , now I`ll be travelling a lot all over the world.
When I´m travelling I love to have a local guide, so I prefer to go to places where I know somebody or I do a guided tour.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer you a room for 2 people with a doublebed,an own small bathroom and a toilet.
When I have time I like to cook Austrian meals and I can show you the surrounding area(Perchtoldsdorf, Vienna Woods).
I like to travel, go on cyclingtours and also would like to do couchsurfing together with my husband.
Please don´t send me a request when you just look for a room for free, there should be some interests we have in common, I also prefer to host women or couples or cyclists and I think people should start with hosting to get some references and then start surfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meanwhile I have a few CS experiences, I met some very nice people who stayed with me and became friends and I already was hosted by some very nice people who also became friends of mine.

Interests

I like cycling, hiking and travelling around the slow way with meeting new people, talking and spending some time together
I practice Qigong, try to have a relaxed lifestyle and to stay healthy

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I like the stories and novels by Banana Yoshimoto.
I like classical music (Schubert is my favourite composer), but I also like Ethnomusic (African) and some of the Italian Cantautori.

I can offer you to live with an average Austrian family for a few days and show you the lifestyle.
I can be a tourguide for hiking and cycling around Perchtoldsdorf.
You can practice QiGong with me.
