I am 22-old Korean girl volunteering in UK now(until the end of July). The place I volunteer is called 'Revitalise' which is a center for disabled people and their familes to have holidays. I am helping guests in the center to get ready in the moring, to feed, and to help them during short day trips.
Back in Korea I was majoring in English and Social Welfare so this was the perfect place for me to experience what I learned on the textbook. I enjoy my life here so far😄

Before I came to UK I barely traveled and had never been to other continent except Asia. I always dreamed of going to European countries but had no chance before.(and other than european countries too!) So
I want to make most of traveling when I am still here in the UK and I've traveled several times now- but not expert.😂

I like to talk to people and it was fun to find out the difference in the ways of thinking, what they value, what their countries in general value about life. And it was fun to tell them about my country since not many of them know about Korea.

(Sadly, I dont drink. I know many European countries are known for its special alcoholic drinks but I just dont like the taste(+religious reasons.) When I go to the pub with my friends I just have fizzy drinks😀
I am not really a party type person. I barely go to the disco or clubs.)

I made friends while traveling. Although I travel by myself usually, those short conversatons with travelers about culture, their own countries, and what they are interested in made my travel more abundant and meaningful. I found out about couchsufring and I thought it is such a nice chance to meet local people and have a sip of their lives. I thought it would be fun!😀

🙌dramas. - mainly Korean ones but I watched few British or American ones.
🙌Learning new languages- and if it is sign language it is even more cool i think.
🙌Food. I gained so much weight after I came to UK. I basically eat anything. Learned the beauty of desserts in here.
🙌cats and dogs. I dont know much about them but i like them!

Musica, film e libri

Most of the times I listen to Korean singers-such as AKMU, Coffee boy, BuskerBusker, Sikyung Sung etc.

I like reading books but these days I couldnt read a lot.

I am a member of sign language club in the uni, and we did performance every semester. Our goal was to make hearing people pay more attention to deaf people, and provide entertainments for deaf people.
Ive taught children and elementary school students Korean sign languages every week. And helped them studying school stuffs. It was fun!

I like learning new lanaguages-even though I fail to pronounce it right. I can teach Korean and Korean culture.

If you can please share about you. These days I am thinking about what to do in the future and I found out people around the world value different things! I want to think through.
