I am a medical student from Texas with one year left. I am a newly wed. I am taking a year off to immerse myself in Spanish in South America as well as hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visit a new place, I like to completely immerse myself in the culture. Staying at a BNB or hotel does not give me the same experience as staying with locals, to develop relationships and have a realistic perspective of the town.
