I'm a thoughtful and creative person with a diverse set of interests! I am passionate about my work (I currently research art, environment and sustainable politics in contemporary Spain) and have a background in photojournalism and fine arts. I have lived in several places in the USA as well as Spain and Ecuador. What I enjoy most when I travel are the people I meet and the conversations we have! I love being challenged. I believe in the power of joy to improve lives and the world at large.

I don't like to travel like the typical tourist but like to experience the heartbeat of a place through the daily lives of the people who live there. I also am very independent (so often travel alone) but love company and making new friends. I am also a graduate student, so funds often limit my travel options.
