About Me
With my husband Robert and our two children we live with friends in a shared house in Münster. We both make books - me especially for children, him for adults. Our books are translated in several languages and we are happy, that we can make a living from our passion. Because of our two daughters, I work only a few days per week at the moment. I love to be in the nature with my children, in our garden or in the woods.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We like to meet people form different backgrounds and countries. At the moment we live in our shared house with a Japanese guy and a Bosnian girl, we had a guy from Britain for 2 months and we always appreciate it a lot. Because we cannot travel a lot in the moment, we hope to have some more international guests. From 20th of November 2018 till April 2019 a big dream will come true: we are travelling with the kids for a few months around the world. We will start with Kuba then Costa Rica, Hawaii, Australia, Singapur, Malaysia and Thailand.
We hope, that we can find some oportunties to show our childreen how people live their daily lives in different countries .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When we were in Wellington, i was sitting at the seaside and was drawing a house (it had so nice colors and a fancy old car in the yard) and i was thinkin: oh how nice it would be to live here in one of these houses directly to the sea. And a few minutes later a guy came by, just around my age and asked, what i would draw. We talked and he asked where we would stay. I said: we have a tiny room, but it stinks. So he answerd: " I`m leaving town for 2 weeks, you can stay at my house, its just over there" and he pointed at the house next to the one i was drawing. So we realy stayed there with his three flatmates and had a marvelous time.
