Overview
About Me
I'm Chrissie, 26 years old and from Wales in the UK.
I've been working and travelling for the past nine months in South East Asia and Australia. I spent four of those six months working in the shearing sheds in WA which was an experience and pretty damn hard work but All good fun.
I have been living and working in Melbourne for the past few months and I am ready for a change of scene.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, finding things we have in common or just chatting about the world. Hoping fellow couch surfers are the right kind of folk for this.
Interests
I live for anything adventurous or anything that gets you outside- skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking and just being in the mountains. Basically I'm content when I'm in the great outdoors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am officially 26th in the world at Bog Snorkelling! (Probably best I explain that one in person)
Teach, Learn, Share
I couch surfed for the first time in Melbourne and it was a great experience! I am looking to broaden my travelling experience by meeting as many people as possible.
I have recently worked in a meditation camp in the Dandenong Ranges, so I am more than happy to share tips and techniques I learned there.
Of course I will cook for you in return for your generosity and I may even teach you some Welsh!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can pronounce the longest place name in Welsh: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerwchdryndrobwchllantysiliogogogoch Otherwise if that's too difficult I spent ten months hosting a chalet in the French Alps so would love to cook for you in return for your generosity :)
