I don't know about anyone esle but I have always found it difficult to talk about myself, but here goes the basics....

I am happily divorced after a 14 year marrage. Mother of three grown children. I have a long haired tabby that looks Angora, love animals and have had a wide variety of pets (i have a picture of my grand-puppies and grand-cats in my pics)

I am brutally honest as you will see reading on, I am an open book (all you have to do is ask) and even though one of my hobbies is writing and have taught English for a third of my life, I can't spell to save my life! Spell check is my best friend!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to travel! I want to see everything local and the best way to do it is couchsurfing! You get to meet new people, experience different cultures and people while still traveling alone. Couldn't get any better then that!

Interests

I love meeting new people, learning about wherever it is I am, getting lost and as long as I am in the sun while doing it all life couldn't be any better.

I like roller coasters, absending, zip lines, rock climbing but, I am absolutely terrified of heights!

I love to go dancing, listen to live performances (especially country music), however I can only handle LARGE crowds for a limited amount of time and like to wander by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am varied when it comes to music. I do NOT like rap music. I can handle old rap (80's) but not the new stuff.

I watch alot of Syfy but i like all genres. I think my favorite movies are Frequency, A Wonderful Life, Holiday Affair, Die Hard, Leathal Weapon, Frozen and Majic Mike (of Course)LOL

I am a suspence addict! Nicholas Sparks, J.D Robb and Nora Roberts any story that has to do with Christmas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many things that I wish I had done, that I have the aspirations of doing, and the things that I have done, choices. I have volunteered in multiple eco-projects throughout Europe, been invited to visit a school in Australia, but my most AMAZING experience was teaching at a school in Fiji followed up with an AMAZING vacation on one of thier many islands.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have only taught acedemics over the years and am more then willing to share my knowledge about such with whoever.

I would like to learn about all the LOCAL activities in all tourist destinations; where to shop, grocery, clothing; where to have a drink and meet other locals; where to just sit, read a book, or à la carte the afternoon away.

I recently traveled local, with others for a long weekend. While that was nice because expenses can be shared it was also bothersome to have to worrý about the "schedule" or about what "we" are going to do. Traveling with others is nice, however, traveling alone is the best experience one could have.

Don't get me wrong I can go with the flow as I like to please others and help them along in their traveling experiences but, I have done ALOT of people pleasing over the years and it has taken me sometime to remind myself that my happiness belongs in the world too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a great cook! I make things up as a go, everything is done through the heart, the senses, and the mood that I am in suits the cuisine. I can cook a full course meal in under 30 Min as long as you don't care about presentation, regaurdless, I can't plate a "pretty" dish, lol.
