Overview
About Me
Far more than a woman, daughter, westener or traveler I feel like a simple human being on its exciting way through life. Deep inside I got planted a bush of optimism and love for classical music; probably both lead me in some way. What makes me live and be are the people I may share my life, both merry and irritating moments with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sightseeing and "awesome awesome awesome!!" make me sick. My motivation for exploring this world are the living beings ensouling it - not the social benefits of "having been somewhere". I enjoy getting part of a city's flow as well as hiking through world's end for weeks - but wherever I am, I am not only physically but with all my heart and senses and the wish of getting in touch with the spot and feeling it through YOUR eyes for a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2015 and 2016 I walked on the Munich and Portuguese Jakobsweg, which is an exciting, inspiring and very individual experience I can strongly recommend to anyone who seeks for a pause from the daily turbulences.
2016 - 2017 we made our (mainly hitchhiking) way from Germany to Nepal and back. This was highly amazing! And in the same time it was so much more. On some days exhausting, on others it felt us with energy. But never boring. This way taught us a lot not only about the regions and humans we got to know but also about ourselves and our perspective on life and let us switch into an observing perspective on our home.
Thanks to everyone who shared time, ideas or living space with us we felt welcome and even at home while being abroad. To experience the pronounced -and frequently spontaneous- hospitality made me feel so well and optimistic with our world and unwell at the same time, wondering: will I ever be able to give back what I received?
Teach, Learn, Share
In general I’m interested in getting to know your style of living and distinct attitudes towards life. How do your daily routines look like? Which questins do concern you? What gives you the feeling of being at home? What scares, what inspires, what irritates you?
What I'd like to try out is the trumpet, trombone or any other brass instrument (since I grew up in the south of germany I'm kind of brass-blooded...) as well as a potter's wheel. Also I'm crazy about getting some practice in Nepali, Russian and Persian small-talk.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer some little but valuable things: precious nature all around my place, singing in our empty church at night,
organic food being produced here.
I'd also be glad to give you a crash course about the cyrillic letters, knitting or the German language. Besides you may explore your talent for violin.
