About Me
****Currently in the process of moving country, so I'm not available to host or meet***
Lab based sciencey type who'd rather be outside, having slightly silly adventures.
Vegetarian, but don't mind people eating meat. LGBTQI+ friendly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love people, and the best way to get to know people is to eat with them and share their homes. I've been so lucky when I've travelled to have been invited to stay with many people, often after knowing them only briefly. Opening your home to a complete stranger is a testament to the goodness of human nature.
While most of my homestay encounters have been sent randomly as gifts from the universe, most people who have stayed with me have been known to me - friends and relatives. I'd love to use couch surfing as a way to give back to the community and to meet people with different backgrounds, ideas and experiences to me.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can probably explain biology/genetics to your highschool kids. I've taught up to Masters level.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In depth knowledge of a very restricted number of genes, several anecdotes about why caving is a fantastic sport that convinces no-one to take up caving, middling-to-good bean chili, complete bemusement at anything to do with popular culture post-1995.
