Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to make use of my time in Europe and travel and see as much of it as possible and couchsurfing would help to make this all more affordable and also more personal than living in a boring hotel. To get to travel and meet interesting people...it's the perfect combination! :)

Interests

I love to travel. Although I haven't traveled as much as I would have liked to so far, I still have my life ahead of me to see all the places I want to see and do all the things I want to do.

I have zero cooking skills myself but I LOVE to try out new foods and cuisines everywhere I go.

I enjoy reading, watch TV shoes, movies, music... Depending on my current mood and attention span.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I can enjoy any type f music ranging from classical instruments to orchestras to pop to metal. Have passed through all of those phases but somehow I don't get hip hop. Porcupine Tree is probably my favorite band. Currently listening to a lot of 30 Seconds to Mars and 21 Pilots and random Swedish artists on Spotify.

Movies: I have a serious attention span problem with movies and I always need company. That being said, some of the movies I love are Inside Out, The Dark Knight, Lion King, Life is Beautiful, all the Avengers, .. I love the occasional musical. The music in Moulin Rouge is absolutely fabulous!

Books: Angels and Demons, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Kite Runner, The Assassin's Song... I think of the books that I've read these are the ones that have left some sort of impact. Clearly I seem to have some sort of penchant for melancholy.

TV Shows: FRIENDS! MODERN FAMILY! GAME OF THRONES (bane of my existence).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made a few short films with my friends during my undergraduate studies. Such a fun experience to try something completely new. Hope I get to do this again some time.

Went scuba diving in Mauritius. It was too short though and ever since I've felt like my life won't be complete unless I get a diving licence and become a frequent diver. Gonna do this someday!
