I am a curious person. The world is so big that there is so much to explore. That's why I love traveling and meeting people across the globe. My hobby is listening to others' stories. Stories always fascinate me, no matter how insignificant they seem to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learnt about couchsurfing from a Czech friend who has done plenty amazing hitchiking and couchsurfing trips across the globe in my freshman year and I have started to use couchsurfing in my first solo trip to Taiwan.

Interests

I enjoy chatting with people from different background very much. I can learn about their culture, lifestyle and mentality. It's like listening to various stories. Meanwhile, I can understand my own thoughts and attitude through the conversations. Reading is my another interest. My scope of reading is quite wide, it ranges from politics, sociology, to philosophy, culture, and history. My favorite topic is international politics, especially conflicts in the middle east. I also love visiting art and cultural exhibition.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Book: "Siddhartha" by Hermann Hesse. It is a philosophical book with plenty deep thoughts on life and human nature. One can get different insights from the same story at a different point of time and after having more life experiences. It appears to be strongly influenced by Buddhism, but actually goes beyond that.
