Hello! Everyone calls me Christy. I have spent most of my adult life helping others in both my professional and personal time. I enjoy the simplest of things in life and feel I have a good sense of humor. I am fun loving and open minded to different cultures and people. I am known for being trustworthy and hard working. My heart is big and my personality is pretty laid back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am excited to make new friends and to give others the opportunity to see and explore a beautiful and historic town in West Virginia. I am also interested in traveling especially throughout Europe. I love a local road trip as well.

Interests

I enjoy live music, dancing, singing obnoxiously in my car 😂, road trips, festivals, watching sunsets by the water, reading, movies (particularly horror), animals, children, fishing, boating, exploring new places, history is very interesting to me.

I'm an 80's nerd..but love and respect all forms of music and artistic expression. My selection is a bit crazy. Comedy and horror are my favorite with movies as well as books. I love local legends and ghost stories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My son is pretty amazing..can't get any better than that :) I have also organized fundraisers, volunteered in homeless shelters and have worked for non profit organizations. These are all things I am very passionate about.
