About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn to "see", without using my eyes...
ABOUT ME
I'm not the party girl I used to be. I still enjoy an occasional night out, but favor more tranquil environments. I just moved back to Mexico recently and have no idea how long I will stay or where life will take me next. I let my intuition guide me as much as possible and that approach has taken me to wonderful places and made it possible to meet some very amazing people.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not a religious person but I have spent a few years studying Buddhism under my bhante (a Sri Lankan monk I met in college). Although I am not as disciplined as I once was, I still carry what he thought me close to my heart. I try to live in a harmless manner and approach every situation with compassion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted in Mexico, where my home-base is located. I am looking forward to becoming more active in this community and doing some hitching of my own very very soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Like most things in my life, it was perfect timing to find hitching and the CS community. The travelers I've met have enriched my life in ways I cannot describe. Although I haven't experienced couch-surfing yet, the people that have met through hosting opened my eyes and have reinvigorated my passion for living in the world, instead of in one place.
Interests
It depends where I am, but always out door things, cooking and running. Meeting new people as the best way to spend a day, a week or a life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know if I'm just easily impressed, but I do and see amazing things on a frequent basis... considering that I find waking up to the sound of waves crashing amazing; swimming in bio-luminescence is stunning and my favorite natural phenomenon. I have hitchhiked solo through Mexico for 3 months and the total trip was the best experience of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
While I'm traveling I'd love to learn more about the country's history, the language of the land, and the geology of the area. I honestly don't know if I have any skills per-say. I have my certification to teach English as a foreign language, and I'm certified as a level II firefighter and I can milk goats and make cheese :)
