My name is Christine Bowen and I am a 22 year old
student at the University of Florida. GO GATORS!! I'm in my fifth year getting a degree in Business and Nutrition. Some people I met when I was backpacking Europe told me about this site and I'm happy to finaly be part of it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live with two roommates, so I am unable to share my couch right now. I would love to show someone around town though! I love Gainesville and would give and excellent tour, I'm sure.

Interests

I have started to learn the guitar, but it's going slower than I hoped. I LOVE to cook and entertain. I love Florida football, the beach, mountains and traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was present at both University of Florida football national championships, 1996 and 2006. GO GATORS! I've kissed the Blarney stone, danced with Hare Krishnas in Budapest and was in Florence on the 400 year anniversary of their patron saint's death. Once every 100 years they have a huge celebration and carry her in a glass casket through the town to the Duomo and have a short service. I was there in 2007 to see it.
