ABOUT ME

My main goal in life is to help, in any miniscule to vast way. I about to embark on a cross country move to Maine from Pullman, Washington.

For the longest time I could not picture any concrete goals in terms of my education and "career" but I have become passionate about and dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. I currently work with children with special needs and sorting out my future career path/graduate school.

Some of my main interests include: arts/politics/change/early childhood special education/ disability construct/grief work/music/cooking & more!

Some of my goals are:
-build and live in a tree house
-become fluent in Spanish and sign language
-build a robot
-brew beer/make wine
....and much, much more.

The only consistency in my life currently is the inconsistency. I love to share, to hear, open up my mind and beliefs, question how my experiences have shaped me.... basically, to meet people and truly value the individual, after all, everyone has something to give.

I am nerd at heart (i.e. someone who loves to learn in any sense) and love to try new things. I truly believe in the power of people and ideas, I love meeting someone new who will challenge what I think.

Have surfed and hosted surfers, anxious to do more!
I have met multiple interesting individuals and that is, in my opinion, by far the best aspect of couchsurfing. Every experience is different but that is what makes it great!

Anything related to music, art, any sort of creative expression. Gardening, cooking! Most anything....
