ABOUT ME

My name is Christine and I was born and raised in Orange County, California. In my spare time, I love to dance, take yoga, attend food festivals, and explore new places. I recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with two bachelor's degrees. Since then, I've taken an 8 month sabbatical to southeast Asia and traveled around the United States. I'll be starting medical school fall 2014 in San Diego, CA. I teach yoga Saturdays/Sundays at a studio in Newport Beach.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING experience (good and bad) couch-surfing throughout southeast Asia. For the most part, my hosts have all been very welcoming and warm! Though I've only hosted twice in Orange County (not many "tourists" in OC except to go to Disneyland), my couch-surfers have been great! Overall loving the couch-surfing community!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been kidnapped (and rescued) in Jamaica. Never get into a taxi in Jamaica...scratch that, just don't go to Jamaica.

Backpacked southeast Asia for 8 months solo. I can tell you more about my adventures in person! :D
