ABOUT ME

My name is Christine and I live in sunny California. I call So-Cal home, but I absolutely love to travel.

My classmates think that I'm rather "nerdy;" however, when they get to know me, they know how energetic and crazy (with a positive connotation to that, haha) I am. Many people think that I look and act far more mature than my age. Well, that comes with the complex walk of life I had as well as my eagerness to learn. Granted, a part of me will always be a kid. I love to laugh and to smile. I think that a positive attitude is infectious, and I love being surrounded by positive people under a fun atmosphere. I'm serious and professional when the time calls for those traits. But other than that, I'm quite "laid back" as Californians like to call it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live a bit far from LA and have to work and go to school, so it's a bit difficult to host. However, when I travel I use CS when I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical music (well I play instruments so I kind of have to haha). I enjoy contemporary music as well (jazz, Bossa nova, and anything that makes me want to dance, even though I can't dance to save my life).

I love all genres of movies besides horror lol. Comedy and drama mostly

In terms of books, I always enjoy the classics, and contemporary Chinese literature. Some of my favorites, however, include 1984 by George Orwell and Les Miserable by Victor Hugo.

I strive for self-enrichment. Even though I studied business (Fin, mktg, mgmt, and operations) I love social science subjects as well as performing arts (music & theatre) and literature.
