About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see, meet, explore, wander, reflect, and experience.
ABOUT ME
Depending on my environment, I am very outgoing and playful, or I will sit and relax with a good book and a cup of tea (or glass of wine). I thoroughly enjoy spontaneity but my life is generally fairly scheduled, because I take on a lot. I like going for long runs through forests. It makes me feel like a wood nymph or something. I make good guacamole and l really enjoy good beer, but try not to be too pretentious about it! I like to talk and love to listen. I'm a musician. I play in a couple of bands in Philly and love to take on new projects doing vocals, or to simply play for the sake of playing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really enjoy not only getting the privilege of meeting new, interesting, fun people, but also being able to show them Philadelphia. I find that by taking other people around, I get to experience the city in new ways and see things I hadn't even seen. I love learning from and interacting with people with different perspectives and insights.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted probably about 9 or 10 surfers in total at various houses I've lived in within the past 3 years since being at school and I surfed at 3 different homes when I was in Geneva this past summer. All really wonderful experiences.
Interests
Playing music, going to concerts of all genres, sitting in cafes, writing about people-watching, writing about thinking, reading, sport-playing with friends new and old, strolling on sunny days

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking down the French Alps in the snow without proper attire/no trails. Probably one of the more terrifying occurrences I've had, but it was something I will remember as one of the most incredible experiences I've had.
