I am passionate about my research and my work. I love spending quality time with people who know how to share their thoughts and ideas and who follow their vocations. I'm easy-going but not conventional.

So far it has been an amazing experience! All the people I've hosted were pleasant and trustworthy. We had interesting conversations and lot's of fun. I hope it'll continue being so exciting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into jazz, blues, soul, classical and underground rock but I can listen to many other kinds of music according to the mood and the place! I also love Spanish acoustic guitars, Argentinian tango, Portuguese fados and Italian music mainly from Sicily and Naples.

I enjoy good films, here are a few of my favourite directors: Andrei Tarkovsky, Luis Buñuel, Bela Tarr, Ingmar Bergman, Jean-Luc Godard, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Luchino Visconti,Paolo & Vittorio Taviani, Bernardo Bertolucci.

My main intellectual activity is to translate poetry from French to Greek and vice versa. The long 19th century is my specialization, but I am also passionate about the Italian Renaissance and all literature/poetry written in that period.

I enjoy reading books about politics and philosophy (structuralism,analysis,epistemology,methodology of scientific discoveries,translation theories etc.) Some of my favourite authors/thinkers of all times are: Baruch Spinoza,Karl Popper,George Orwell,Jean-Paul Sartre,Friedrich Nietzsche,Hans-Georg Gadamer,Eric Hobsbawm,Noam Chomsky,Naomi Klein,Robert Keohane,Gilles Deleuze,Claude-Levi Strauss,Michel Foucault, Guy Debord and many more.

I love exchanging opinions and ideas with open-minded people.I discuss a lot about social matters which influence everyone's life.I respect people who have different points of view and I'm always interested in expanding my knowledge in several fields.
