Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm Christin and I lived in Berlin for 12 years before I moved to Saxony. My references from surfers are still from the Berlin place.
I now live with my partner and my (pretty big) dog as well as 5 pet birds.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I have a busy shedule I'm not able to host very often, but feel free to try. ;) Besides I am up to meeting travellers and I can show you around a bit. I'm into metal and rock music, so if you're interested I can give you some tips about places you should visit or grab a drink in a metal bar.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a couchsurfer from the old days and stopped using it for several years after it was commercialized but now I'm back. I surfed and hosted a lot in the past and always loved it.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Too much to list all of them here. I am a big fan of Stephen King and probably enjoy fantasy and horror books most but also love the "german classics". Lots of my reading is work-related and thus about medieval literature and culture.
Movies: Hearts in Atlantis, Stand by Me, Tim Burtons movies and Makoto Shinkais anime movies (and of course Studio Ghibli movies - who doesn't love those?)...
Music: mostly metal and rock stuff and I adore folk music and stuff you could call " medieval rock" I guess but I'm always open to try other things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I touched a ~1100 year old book. I slow travelled Kyushu in Japan for 3 weeks and visited Yakushima Island.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a bit german or I could cook something for you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
