About Me

Hello, Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Christin and I am 30 years old. At the moment I am still studying social work. If I am sending you a request I am mostlikely out o ahiking trail. The last once I have finished are the South West Coast Path in England, The path of St. Olaf in Norway, the camino primitivo and the camino portuguese. So far I walked more than 5000km.
From March on I am on the path in Italy I am on my way from Aosta to Rome on the via Francigena. I also have a tent with me. I really love the outdoors and meeting people. I would say I am really open minded an love deep conversations. I am suffering from a chronical bowel inflamation, but it wont stop me from hiking.
I hope to catch up with you soon and share some stories.

Cheers Christin

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am travelling since I am 18 years old as much as I can. I lived n New Zealand and Australia and I enjoyed the most the connections I made with locals. Being on couchsurfing is for me being in touch with locals. It is about sharing a part of your life. Sharing your experinces, your interestes or whatever you want. It is about being connected with people. I had another courchsurfing account (reactivated the wrong one) and all the people I hosted or the people which hosted me have been unique. Every evening was unique. I am really looking forward for more special meet ups. Some of my favourites have been: watching the movie Pina in Jena, being n a ship in New Zealand or being part of a huge christmas happening in Erfurt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to name the one special experience. When I am on a path, I am always astunned by the kindness from people. I am a big believer in you give and you will get.
Last summer in England met I random people on the path, which offered me a space for my tent and some nice food and awesome conversations. This moment was special.
I also just sat down with strangers for a coffee, these are experiences I never expected to experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I have quiet a lot to share about being brave, moving on, deep conversations... My live has not been straight forward, quiet a lot of downs. But here I am and I have a lot of laughs to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess I can share some stories, about my travels by foot, my time in New Zealand and Australia, my time as as assistant director at theatre. I also can share some helping hands, an open ear (I am a pretty good listener)...

Countries I’ve Visited
