I work on a sailboat as a deckhand part of the year and as a stage lighting and A/V tech the other part. I like photographing live music locally in the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am feel like it would be a cool way to meet people and supplement my income while transitioning into a room or apartment rental of my own.

Generally I like Rock & Roll music but not limited to it. I enjoyed Jim Jarmusch's films alot. I have not read all that much lately but my brother wrote a novella I really enjoyed: " A Perfect Defective" by Peter Clark

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was amazing sailing on Clipper City these past three summers and it felt amazing to be a part of the renovation work done on the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater last winter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play darts or pool. I also know how to tie a few knots. There's the bowline, clove hitch, and square knot. Those are the more commonly used ones anyway.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to share my discount admission on the Sailboat when we are up and running again during the season which is due to start up again in late April and run through mid-October.
