One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived with a local family in Kathmandu for a month while working with a Nepali travel magazine a three mile walk away.

Being able to experience the city on such a grass roots level rather than staying in a bland hostel in the culture-free tourist part of the city gave me a fascinating insight into real Nepali culture.
