ABOUT ME

Hi. I'm Christof. I've lived all over the country and some abroad. I do a fair bit of traveling alone, but typically I camp while I go so I haven't couchsurfed much at all. I need very little and try to leave no trace outdoors and indoors. I am very considerate, quiet, but love getting to know new people and exploring.

I am an occupational therapy masters student at Colorado State University. My research focuses on equine assisted therapies especially for folks on the autism spectrum. Occupational therapy is all about getting you back to doing the things you love, with the people you love in the places you love. Before graduate school, I worked with adults with cognitive disabilities and am passionate about ability, disability and enablement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For giving and receiving couches. Meeting and knowing new people is a love though. America is vast and its people are stronger if we understand, know and learn from each other.

Interests

Love homebrewing, bouldering, fermenting, board games, feminism, poetry, tea, hiking/14ering, biking, camping, solo-travel and crosswording. Photography--mostly nature and portraits.. I do a little ice sailing when I can.

I also make miniature objects, typically 1/12th actual size. Mostly instruments and household furniture/appliances. I've got some photos if you want to see my silly hobby.
