Since 2017 I travel the world with my girlfriend in our small van.

ABOUT ME

The world whit its variation in nature, culture, landscape and people is fascinating and pulls me repeatedly away from home. In early 2017 I and my girlfriend left home for a indefinite time, to explore the world with our minivan and meet people around the world.
I like sports, so when I travel I try to combine surfing, snowboarding, hiking, paragliding or mountainbikeing with a trip. However I don't mind discovering nightlife if there is a good live concert :))
I am also very interested in growing own vegetables, mushrooms and fuits, but due to the current trip around the world I had to give up my garden (and chickens). I also brew my own beer, which is a lot of work, but absolutely worth the effort.
I'm very easy going, clean and non-smoking person. I like cooking, therefore I don’t go out for dinner.
I learned and worked a few years as mechanic engineer, followed by a master in biology-ecology.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy and take care of mother nature. Never give up.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am a curious person, I like to meet people from different countries and like to know about their culture, food, music.... If I check in at a hotel, most likely I wont get a „real“ local experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not so much up to now, but the ones I had were great, especially in Pakistan and Indonesia.

Music very important for me. Depending on the mood and activity: Reggae, Rock, Punk, Ska, Blues, Oldies...

Traveling north Pakistan with our own car. Some places at hight elevation were so remote that you don’t hear any noise, except your own breath.
In Ladakh (Kashmir) live, sleep and cook above 5000m asl.
Brew our own beer on woodfire and drink it :)

-a nice food recipe from Switzerland or from a country I traveled.
-I transformed a emergency van into a camper-van, so I like to work with my hands (wood, metal, electronic). If I can help you with some work at your place (also in your garden), it would be my pleasure.
