Hello everyone!
As I realize how difficult it is to say something "about me" in this situation where you do not yet know me in person, and to avoid stating random, unconnected (fun)facts about me, I decided to tell a story about me.
I served the mandatory civil service in Colombia. When coming back, I was overwhelmed by the wealth, abundanace and the security in Austria and the privileges I enjoyed. And I started to wonder how I could change and better the world. I was thinking about this a lot, and I came to the conclusion that changing myself is one key aspect. I seek tolive a more humble, grateful and compassionate life, compassionate towards all other beings and nature!

I'm on couchsurfing because it's a great platform to connect with people. Also, couchsurfing is a good example for the incredible possibilities of the internet. Moreover, I understand reciprocity as a basic rule of life and that I try to keep in mind in whatever I'm doing.
