Sobre Mim
During my school time I used to work for the Goethe Institut and came to appreciate the exchange with people from all over the world. I’m looking forward to continue this “tradition” with new encounters.
For the past 5 years I’ve been studying at the Baltic Sea. Right now I’m in Luxemburg for an internship. So I thought, Couch Surfing might be a great way to get to know (yet) foreign people in foreign countries. Since I don’t have a steady residence at the moment, I don’t have much to offer, but hope this to change, once I return to the Baltic Sea.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?
Hospitality is a virtue, that should be promoted more. It’s a good way to meet people, you have no common background with, except those you get to discover, once you meet. Besides, staying in a hotel or Airbnb doesn’t allow you to interact and get to know your surroundings authentically - more so, when you’re having locals around you and maybe follow the valuable hints and recommendations, they share with you.

Music, sports (a variety), does politics count?
I’m participating at a club, that organizes an international students festival (check out gristuf.org - you might even take part in it!) and much more: at last, I organized our Living Room Concerts and our radio show. It’s time consuming but worth the effort! So, people! Get involved. It’s precious for oneself and everyone around you.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros
I enjoy a variety of music, ranging from classic to all descendants of rock. Although, I just can’t enjoy R'nB and nowadays Pop... sorry.
Regarding Literature: I used to read a lot but due to my studies it became rare, sadly. The last time I had some spare time during the summer, I thought I give Paulo Coelho a shot, since I loved The Alchemist. So I read several of his stories. Not all of them were convenient and the esoteric elements were a little strange from time to time. However, his œuvre seems to form a net - small details and items reoccur, not to mention names, and that makes reading his books really enjoyable. But enough of that. Your turn ;)

Living a year abroad. A very formative experience. Also working for the summer for the Goethe Institute during school time - multicultural insights galore.
Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe
If you ever meet someone, who speaks in a foreign tongue, exchange about your way of expressing common sayings (for instance: “making a mountain out of a molehill“ is just so different in many languages. The fun starts, once you translate your proverbs literally and try to explain them).
