CURRENT MISSION

Hi everybody! My name is Chris and I'm from Paris! I suscribed to this Website to meet people from all over the world. I don't especially look at my myself as a French guy, but rather as a global citizen, that's why I'd like to meet new foreign friends!

ABOUT ME

Like I said above, I look at myself as a global citizen, and I really would like to keep interacting with people who come from different cultures and countries.

Sorry to be a bit pretentious, but I think I'm really a nice person. I like to joke and I'm always laughing with people. In fact, I have two personalities : very serious when I talk about my thesis, and very stupid when I talk about other topics (I'm exaggerating a little of course!).

If you try to know me more, I'm sure you'll adopt me!

So what are my defaults? Maybe just a bit talkative? :)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm always living in the present time. I don't try to control what happens in my life. It doesn't mean I'm careless or what. I just think that worrying to much about past or future events is a bit useless and just stress people.To me, it's probably one the the best ways to be happy :-).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My flat is very small (about 18 square meters) but it's very close to the subway and to Paris and the place of the Nation.

I'm a bit busy with my thesis and my work, so I probably won't be able to entertain the persons who are interested in staying at my home for whole days... But of course, it's ok to lend them my keys and to let them sleeping in my house for one or or two nights (not more because the surface of my flat is really narrow). Usually I'm free in the evenings. :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've still never done that in my life, but some friends of mine told me that it was a great experience! So, why not?

Interests

In order of priority:

1. Foreign languages (Chinese, English and Spanish)
2. All kinds of literatures. I'm writing a thesis about the indigenous literature in Mandarin of Taiwan)
3. All kinds of sports but I especially like martial arts (Krav maga, Wing Chun Kung-fu, Aikido, Brazilian Ju-Jutsu, etc.), stretching and jogging.
4. to talk about how to change the world :-)

Movies : action movies, comedies, realistic movies (I mean.. which describe the real life of people). I especially like Japanese and Korean movies... :-)

Books : political essays, sci-fi novels, adventure stories, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited the East coast of Taiwan with a scooter in 2012 September. "Taroko Gorge" are the most beautiful scenery I've never seen in my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach : I think I can teach some cooking skills and some sentences in Chinese!

Learn : I'm mainly interested in practicing English, whatever are the topics because I'm very open minded!

Share : I've begun to practice Tibetan buddhism a few years ago.
