One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
FACING THE DEAMOND OF LOVE
stayed with a rainbow family in the mountains of france. children of the earth they called themselves.
one night 8 people arrived to stay, there was not enough room in the yurt for everyone, so me, along with 2 others left the yurt so the newcomers had a place to sleep, we spent that night, around the fire with the winter snow falling around. i had left my shoes in the yurt, so sat shoeless around the fire.
it was a long tough night, staring into the fire in silence, the 3 of us stayed, even though 2 beds freed up, no one gets left by the fire alone.
at some point in the early morning, sitting on the hard wooden bench, the icey winter air biting into my bare feet, i had been staring into the fire for somthing like an hour, when I faced my Deamond.
It was the Deamond of Love.
from since i can remember, all attempts of showing love towards others has caused a lot of aggression in my mind. I have never known why.
That night round the fire, I faced that Deamond, and i have never been so scared in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
of all the wonderful amazing things iv learnt while hitch hiking, i love to share with others.
erm! for any buskers out there, never play any political folk music in Belfast... i learnt the hard way.
in regards to hitchhiking, if someone drops you of saying its a good spot to hitch from.... it probably isnt.... again iv learnt the hard way :)
