About Me

Hi, couchsurfers!

I'm from Lille all the way up north of France and graduated in Foreign Languages (English / Spanish / French Sign Language but havrn t pracriced ina long time...)
I always loved travelling since I was a kid especially since I was choosen to go on a student year exchange in Colorado, USA in 2008-2009.
I love learning and experience new stuff, meeting new people and just walk around a new city.
I'm a very active person, as I used to be hyper active as a kid and still am but I manage it well thanks to meditation and healthy food
I still need to move, walk and visit a lot haha I just hate staying home when there's so much stuff to do outside! Especially in unknown places
I'm all for new experiences and will follow you anywhere you think is interesting

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to enjoy a city s life, culture and the people is to live as close to it as possible, so couchsurfing is the best!
It's the best way to share experiences, stories and create friendships that might last way longer than you think

Interests

Sports : Basketball, football, indoor climbing and longboard. I used to do capoeira and plan to do it again someday!

I enjoy nightlife as much as I need calm. So I can be a party animal haha deep house, techno, drum'n'bass, psytrance, reggae, dub are what I like to move to !
At the same time, I can relax and enjoy just a night of talking about music, art or just nonsense while drinking wine

I love to cook, like really looove, it's great meditation, a moment for me of mindfulness and letting go of noisy, useless situations we think as problems. I hope if I cook for you one day, you'll see and feel what I mean while eating

Music, Movies, and Books

I love every type of music.

Some of my favorites are : Pink Floyd, Pharaoh Sanders, Gabor Szabo, A Tribe Called Quest, David Bowie, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis, Deep Purple, Tyler the Creator, Hilight Tribe, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Funkadelic, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, The Doors, Kenrick Lamar, Miles Davis, etc...

I love reading Bukowski, Aldous Huxley and one of my favorite book is The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, amazing spiritual book, I recommend it to anyone at any time of your life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being free of everything : time, work, responsabilities, in Latin America for 7months from october 2016 until may 2017 was one the greatest experience of my life!

I was just wondering around, meeting local people and people from around the world, and it was just perfect.

From this experience the most amazing thing that happened to me was spending almost a whole month (my last month before going back to France) with different families I met during Yagé ceremonies (in Popayan, Colombia). These families treating me like their own and I felt like part of there families. Greatest thing.

I spent 2 crazy-intense-beautiful-amazing months in a hippy-gypsy type community in the rainforest of Panama. We were building a self-sufficient place with permaculture and a place to live for 30-40 people coming, staying for 1 week, 1month, 1 year or more and then going someplace else.
Definitely one of the most amazing experience I've ever had

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some French and bad words haha
I want to learn everything!
I want to share stories and exchqnge views on everything meaningful or meaningless. And food is the best and fastest way to get to someone's heart and soul

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some crepes and anything vegetarian if I'm in a creative mood. Bring me to an outdoor market and I'll cook a dinnerfull of beautifulness and tastefulness!
For the past 5years I've have changed my views on food and tried to be conscious about what I eat.

I like to be careful and conscious ofwhat I eat as we are what we eat.
