ABOUT ME

Well in May 2012 my dream had come true and I landed in the United States. I was gonna stay for one year, taking care of children and living in a host family. However, that "year" turned out to become two years, as I had extended my stay with the same family in New York City.
During that time I really fell in love with traveling. I explored the US from the East-Coast to the West. It was awesome to meet all these amazing and interesting people. Especially I´ve learned, that traveling is not about going to a hotel and do sightseeing. It´s more like learning about yourself, thinking, finding new ways, getting inspiration and yeah...meeting cool people who feel the same way.

PHILOSOPHY

Well there´s the famous quote that has appeared in Robert Frost´s "The Road Not Taken" which I pretty much admire, even though it might be worn out already. But it´s a simple and brilliant statement: "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference." Once in a while, everyone should choose to take the one less traveled by.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being an AuPair in New York City had been the most profound experience in my life. Also the things I had done around the AuPair-Job, like visiting fire-houses across the US and all these roadtrips had been priceless experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sure let´s share some knowledge about photography. I also love to learn new languages and, of course, I would be teaching you some German if you wish to!! But if there´s something completely different you could offer, I would be open to that as well!!
