Overview
About Me
I'm a Mexican American guy born to immigrant parents, and blessed to have been raised bilingual with a strong tie to my Latin american culture. I just recently graduated from university and am working, but have hopes and dreams for something far beyond the work place.
I strive to be someone that listens well, is inclusive, and is able to create a comfortable space for others.
Interests
Of course music and reading and drawing and nature and all that good stuff!
But for the last couple of years, I've been completely immersed in learning about natural building and sustainable design. My hope is to turn this interest/hobby into a living eventually!
Related - industrial design, furniture design, making and creating cool THINGS!
Also, seeing live music. Always, any day.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
- Bands: Khruangbin, The Growlers, Sticky Fingers, Chicano Batman, Toro y Moi, and many others!
- Artists: Bonobo, JamieXX, DJ Koze
- House/Disco/Soul/Techno music has been my latest obsession, I could go on and on. Currently in the process of learning how to DJ.... its hard

- Mountain biking down a volcano in Ecuador
- Snowboarding on a volcano in Chile
- Backpacking in Patagonia - in all honesty ... probably the most incredible experience of my life so far
- Attended an Indigenous Culture gathering in South America
- The Salkantay Trek through the mountains of Peru
And hopefully many, many more experiences to come!
