About Me
On the 29th August 2014, I flew out of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The chaotic desert, which I had called my home for over a year became a part of my history. I left as I had done ‘enough’. I left in search of a new adventure. But mostly, I left to save myself. Living and working in Saudi Arabia had pushed my coping mechanisms to their breaking points, and it was time to step off the ride.
On the 30th August 2014, my new life commenced. Gone was the six day working week; the long hours; the stress and pressure; and in their places…the life of endless possibility. For as long as I care to remember, I’ve always loved travel. Fueled by family trips to France as a child, followed up by inter-railing as a youth and later, weekend city breaks as an adult, leaning heavily on London’s no frills airline community in search of a new location each weekend while continuing to fund the trips during the week.
During my lunch breaks for the past year, while it was too hot to step outside, I read travel blogs of lucky souls that were leading lives that I dreamed to be living while I started to feel like I was simply, getting older. Now…it’s my turn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been hearing about it for years but have always stayed in hostels previously. I thought it was time to give it a go..
Interests
While it seems cliche..I love to travel and have new experiences. I've been doing it for as long as I remember and I don't intend to stop any time soon. I travel full-time at the moment so most of my spare time is spent planning whats next but when there's time, I enjoy reading, writing and keeping up with English football.

Hmmm I never think like this..I'm a modest Brit. I'll slightly twist this question that things that make me smile that I've done. Such things as working abroad, particularly Singapore and Saudi Arabia (for polar opposite reasons), trekking along the great wall of China, doing a parachute jump in New Zealand or more recently, staring at the sights in the Himalayas from Nepal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, I can clean and I'd like to think that I'm generally helpful and can hold a decent conversation.
