About Me
Hi! I’m Christopher. I’m an artsy type that loves old souls, good music and better conversation. I’m passionate about music, especially the old stuff. Anything from 1930’s-40’s Jazz to Queen and Judy Garland to Django Reinhardt and The Who and back again. I love art of any nature, catch me at any art museum getting teary-eyed. Guess I’m looking for someone to get emotional over art with, or maybe just company to share drinks :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m excited to immerse myself in the local people and the culture, and be more than a tourist. Navigating the city alone isn’t very hard, but it also isn’t very fun. Hoping this can be a tool to make real connections.

Music, Movies, and Books
Amy Winehouse, Freddie Mercury, John Lennon, Sarah Vaughn, Billy Joel, Ann Margaret, Peggy Lee, Bruce Springsteen, Ella Fitzgerald, the list goes on forever..
I truthfully could be more cultured in movies! I love old classics. Any favorites you want to show me?
Non-fiction/biographies. Some fantasy. Currently reading and re-reading: Queer City, The Tao Of Pooh, The Trouble With Normal, The Diary of Anne Frank, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to sing more, and I performed for five thousand people once... but this trip is immeasurably more amazing than that!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m a makeup artist by trade, so I’m happy to share tips and tricks, but I don’t really have much to teach considering I feel like I have so much yet to learn. I’m just starting my traveling adventures; hopefully I can fill in this field with more detail later.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My witty, dorky (and hopefully endearingly awkward) personality, lots of laughs, and good memories.
