Overview
About Me
Nudist Gay Couple: Early 50’s & Husband mid-50's - together more than 22 years. We are in NYC - Hell’s Kitchen area of Manhattan and we love it here...there are actually 4 seasons. We both love snow and cool and cold weather. We are both avid nudists and prefer hosting others who are also or who at least are super comfortable and simply don't mind. I have weird sleeping habits due to working across so many time zones every week. So sometimes I sleep normally, but mostly I sleep half the day and am up half the night. However, no guest should ever be concerned about waking me as they get up and get ready to do whatever - because almost nothing wakes me up once I'm asleep.
I've also gotten very good at being stealth and quiet so my husband can sleep like a normal human so I won't keep anyone awake. Guests have never bothered us...whether late or early.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have enjoyed getting to know guests, even if it's for only while they are staying with us. We also enjoy hanging out with other nudists, which is a hard thing to find too. So, while that's not required, if it's something you are into already or even just want to try it - you found the right spot.

Music, Movies, and Books
We have an odd blend of musical tastes ranging from country (those Texas roots) to rock/pop and easy listening or whatever you would define Michael Buble as. Love Lady Gaga, Cher, Garth Brooks, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, P!nk, Aerosmith, Queen, Abba and many others including Broadway show playlists!
I think I can safely lump our favorite movies together, although each of us has a couple of the others persons favorites we hate! However, overall, especially contemporary movies we are in agreement on.
These would include:
- Steel Magnolias
- Sordid Lives
- The Help
- Titanic
- Urban Cowboy
- A Star Is Born (Gaga edition)
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- Rent
- My Best Friends Wedding
- Bridesmaids
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We have both traveled to every continent except Antartica, although we will get there. We have also made all 50 states together (so we had to start over when we met), most Canadian Provinces (working on the rest), and have flown more than 3 million miles, while NOT working.
Teach, Learn, Share
Share info about NYC. Easy ways to get around. Restaurants and what just can't be missed including the less touristy spots. Can also have long conversations about travel tips - but this is only for those who want it, because I tend to geek out on the subject.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Can share our space. We are in the heart of the Manhattan borough of New York City. In the Hell's Kitchen Neighborhood which is defined as the area from 34th St - 59th St and from 8th Avenue to the Hudson River. It's an eclectic neighborhood with a large LGBTQ+ population. Lots of great restaurants, night life, the A/C/E Subway is very close (5 min walk), Broadway Theaters are also all within a quick 10 minute walk. Also easily walkable is the Hudson River, the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier/Museum, Times Square. Central Park, Columbus Circle, 30 Rock, Penn Station/Madison Square Garden are all walkable, but also an easy 1-3 stops on the subway. Our place is a 1BR elevator apartment with A/C. Sleeping area is a very large and comfortable L shaped sofa.
