I'm hoping to start traveling again, but with Covid in various states around the world it almost feels impossible or unethical to do. I am vaccinated for Covid-19 and boosted in Dec 2021.

That being said, I'm dipping my toes into the idea again and have refreshed my page here. Hoping to chat with travelers and potentially give my space to those who could use it if they decide to travel here, to LA.

I'm a lover of outdoors. Hiking, camping, backpacking, beach, biking, climbing, ect. I work from home these days so I try to take walks to break up the inside space. I go climbing at a gym nearby to stay active. Weekends I like to hike and explore a bit.

I can also be a home body and hang in intimate settings with friends, expressing ideas, sharing food, stories, and the occasional drink :)

HOSTING:

If I can and do host, I have a living room space for a couple people to sleep in. I have a long couch and an air mattress. So that's roughly three people that can stay at one time.
It is however connected to my "office" so if I am working I would have to occupy some of that space.

I live in a very central part of LA called Mid city. You could google Pico blvd and Fairfax blvd and I'm right by that intersection. Not a lot of walkable spots, although roughly a 20 min drive to nearly any location [Downtown LA, Beach, Hollywood]. Which is saying a lot for Los Angeles, cause if you're on one side of town and need to get to the other It could take about an hour depending on the time of day.

There is a grocery store across the street, so that's probably the most convenient part of my location.

I am LGBT+ friendly, I myself am a gay man. It doesn't define me, just putting that out there in case people have preferences in hosts and guests.

As far as music I'm open to it all.
Anything from mellow, to rock, to electric to R&B. There is so much to hear, and I love hearing it all.

I work in animation, so I really have a soft spot for.. you guessed it! Animated movies. The Incredibles is probably my favorite in terms of 3D animated movies. Although I love all the classics of course.
I do love action movies as much as anyone else, but I think I really favor thrillers and thought provoking movies. Things that leave me questioning things after I've watched them.

I don't make as much time for books as I should, but I blame that mostly on not having a commute by public transportation.

Not sure if I have just one, although I'll never forget climbing up to the top of half dome in Yosemite. It was still one of the most amazing things I've experienced.
