About Me
So it's been awhile. In 2013 I used Couchsurfing.com to travel the country. I was doing stand up comedy and I went from San Francisco to New York and back and couch surfed in just about every state in between. It was an experience I will never forget.
I live in Los Angeles now and I am intent on paying it forward. In terms of requests I will accept, it can be tricky work-wise for me to host people during the week, but not necessarily impossible. I do tend to favor weekend-based requests though. I also generally limit requests to about 4 days. While I love hosting, gotta keep the balance in my life haha. I'm a pretty easy-going human, so if you're someone who wants to go out and have a drink while you're here, more than happy to show you around. If you're the type who would prefer to do your own thing, that's ok too. Join me in my home!
PS for those who are unlike myself and properly plan their trips well in advance, my work can be a bit unpredictable and it is difficult for me to commit to hosting any more than a month in advance. If you're looking for a host that far out, probably better to check around with other folks first and then circle back around to me if your trip gets closer and you can't find a host.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The project of couchsurfing inspired me to chase my dreams. I quit my day job once upon a time and moved out of my comfy apartment. I lived out of the trunk of my car for a year or so, so I'm somewhat of a surfing expert. The best tip I can give is, always fold the blankets. It's the least you can do, you leach!
I have a dog named Quinn who is an absolute angel. She can be a little weary around strangers, men in particular, but not in a dangerous way. Just don't back her into a corner and we'll all get along just fine.
Interests
Comedy, football, dancing, reading, writing, arithmetic. Ok, I'm lying about the arithmetic but it just flowed so nicely.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movie: the shawshank redemption
Music: all of it
Book: the things they carried, and the rest of them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The vatican. I'm not a religious nut or anything. But the architecture. Amazing what humans can do.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I can juggle, so there's that. It's easy to teach, but takes a lot of practice. I have retired as a comic, but I'm still funny.... I think? I currently work in property management, but you probably don't want to learn about that. I could teach you how to drink too much whisky.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I ever hit the road again I'll bother with this. For now, what can you share with me?
