I am a fourth-year medical student in Richmond, VA, going into the field of psychiatry. I love my wife, our 4 cats, coffee, cooking, science/culture/comedy podcasts, finding new music, exploration by bicycle, and getting out in nature. I like adventures and getting to know other adventurers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to participate in electives at institutions where I might one day complete my residency training, but (like most students) money is tight and I'm trying to find the most cost-effective approach!

30-day trip around the U.S. and Canada by train with nothing but a few changes of clothes, a journal, and a stack of books.
