Overview
About Me
My name is Chris, i'm in my late twenties and from Berlin. I am an open-minded and extrovert person, quite tidy, responsible and respectful as well. Generally I define myself as left-orientated, liberal and tolerant.
After years of being in the field of energy supply management I decided to study social and cultural anthropology and politics. At the moment I am working as a research assistant beside my studies.
I speak German and English fluent; Spanish and Quechua on a basic level - I didn't gain much practical experience to be honest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been hosting dozen of people since I live in Berlin, but tbh I have never thought about doing couchsurfing myself.
I want to give it a try now, since I am in need of an accomodiation for my first days in Barcelona till I can move into the room I'll be renting. :) After my time abroad I will definitely host other people again!
Furthermore I fucking love traveling! Guess this platform will definitely be quite useful in that term. :D

Music, Movies, and Books
I am reading quite a lot and love well written non-fiction - mostly historical or political stuff - and fiction as well. My favourite autors are André Gorz, Erich Fromm and Hermann Hesse. I love "To have or to be?" and "Siddharta".
About my taste of music: It differs from time to time and age to age. I used to listen to Hip Hop, Rap, Psy-Rock and Hardcore Punk (e.g. Terror) quite a lot. Nowadays I prefer techno (e.g. Adam Bayer, Ben Klock), (neo)classical music (Max Richter) and more spherical and ambient stuff (e.g. Tycho). But in general I love every music that has heart and soul!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been riding through Viet Nam with my fianceé by bike - drove round about 2.500 km within 14 days. Hardcore traffic and changing weather conditions, but also astonishing landscapes and beautiful human beings. <3 BEST! TRIP! EVER!
