I have a passion for writing, I can be very creative. I love live music, I'm always at concerts. I love traveling, but I do get bad road rage when I drive. Seriously though, I have a terrible case of wanderlust and a lot of traveling I'd like to do. I'm a bit of a nerd. I love all the super hero movies. I'm also a big football fan, college and pro. I’m very open-minded, yet highly opinionated. I’m terrible at math. I’m a pretty picky eater, I never thought that I was, but my friends insist that I am. I love the rain. I am good at enjoying the simple moments in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to begin traveling, REALLY traveling and enjoying different cities and cultures and seeing what the world has to offer and meeting new and interesting people. I've been told many times that I should look into Couchsurfing, so here I am.

Interests

Writing. I will most likely chronicle my travels in blog or book form.

Music. I love live music more than almost anything. I want to attend as many shows as possible.

Comic books and related movies. Comic cons and all thinks nerdy and geek culture are on my list of things to experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very eclectic and more broad than bands I name will lead on. Frank Turner, Breaking Benjamin, All Time Low, Rise Against, Sister Hazel, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, A Day to Remember, Vitamin String Quartet, Taylor Swift (yes, seriously), Bruno Mars, Godsmack, Billy The Kid, Fallout Boy, etc... For the most part, anything played with real instruments I'm likely to enjoy.

I enjoy independent movies on Netflix at 2am. Mostly I enjoy comic book movies and movies made from books I've read. I enjoy all the big blockbusters and ridiculous movies like Fast and Furious that force you to suspend your disbelief and enjoy the action.

The books I read are all over the place. They range from classics from Hemmingway to nerdy sci-fi books like the Halo novels by Eric Nylund.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I took a mic and went on stage to do karaoke and the karaoke machine broke before my music even started. I stood on stage for half an hour telling jokes to the crowd while waiting on the machine to get fixed. The machine never did, however my more musically inclined friends brought in guitars and we continued karaoke night acoustic style. The bar picked up our tabs that night. It was a lot of fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have much to teach. Unless you happen to be infatuated by learning about how stories play out in comic books vs the movies or the key to giving a perfect high five 100% of the time.

I'd love to learn how to play any instrument at all. I'm willing to learn anything worth learning. You can never have to much knowledge.

All I have to share are stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just stories and conversation mostly. I clean up after myself well and I'd be willing to help with any sort of routine housework or yard work if needed.

It's worth noting that I write a lot, so there is a possibility a host would be mentioned in my writings. Unless of course they wished not to be.
